Biblical Manhood and Womanhood

At Creekside Bible Church we believe that God has created men and women equal in nature, worth, importance, and dignity, yet different in function and role. Genesis 1:27 says that "God created man in His own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female He created them." In other words, while men and women are both fellow heirs of the grace of life (Gal 3:28) and share a common humanity of equal worth, God has designed and ordained differing roles that complement each other. Therefore, a growing understanding and practice of biblical femininity and masculinity is foundational for our families, for body life, and for effective ministry in the local church.
